Take a walk on the wild side at "Kingdom of the Son" Vacation Bible School (VBS) on Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14! Your child will learn the Lord's prayer and the fun of talking with God as they go on an expedition into God's Word! Each day, your child will explore Bible stories, sing great songs, make awesome crafts and play energetic games! On Friday, we invite all family members to join us at 8:00 pm to a sing-along and hear what your child has learned about Jesus. To cap off the experience, we will ask participants to lead the congregation in a few songs from VBS in church on Sunday, August 16 at 9:30 am! Our drawing will take place during church announcements at the end of the service on Sunday, August 16th. It's not too early to register! |

Not sure what to do for dinner tonight? Did you have to get your car towed last week? Are you planning on getting some work done on it? If so, why not have dinner at Classic Cadillac Diner or get work done on your car at Jason’s “Bobby & Steve’s” Auto World and Towing AND help youth grow in their faith at the same time!? Whenever you choose to patron these establishments and turn your receipt into New Life Church, Jason will contribute 10% of the receipts income to Crossfire, our youth group! Simply visit the Lino Lakes location at 35E and County Road 14 (7090 21st Ave), have dinner, get some car work done or if you need a tow, give them a call at 651-294-2094. Then, when you have received your receipt, bring it to New Life Church, put it in our offering plate or send it to: New Life Church, Attn: Linda Anderson, 6000 N 148th St, Hugo, MN 55038. All funds raised will help defray the cost of Crossfire, our youth group, attending a National Youth Gathering in New Orleans in the summer of 2010. For more information about the gathering, please visit www.lcmsgathering.com. This program will be available until May of 2010 so be sure to stop by, stock up and help out the youth in our community on a regular basis! If you choose to participate, please remember to cross out your credit card number on your receipt with a black marker. Also, receipts from the convenience store and from gas will not be accepted toward this program. |
